Biography
James Ross, M.D., M.S., is a general surgery resident at UCSF. During his research years, he was a research fellow in the Matthay Lab at UCSF. Dr. Ross has a combined undergraduate and masters degree in biochemistry from the University of Oxford, and an MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. His research focused on investigating the potential roles of mesenchymal stem cells and their paracrine products in preventing organ failure secondary to peritonitis.
