Research Narrative
Dr. Reilly's research is focused on device and technique development and clinical trials of systems for endovascular repair of complex aortic aneurysms, particularly systems that allow application of the endovascular techniques to branch-bearing segments of the aorta (the aortic arch with the great vessels, the proximal abdominal aorta with the visceral and renal arteries and the iliac bifurcations with the hypogastric arteries). Her research also investigates the durability of endovascular repair of both complex and straight-forward aortic aneurysms.
Research Interests
- Device improvement and refinement of surgicval technique in the endovascular repair of complex aortic aneurysms
- Durability of endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms
