34th Annual J. Engelbert Dunphy Resident Research Symposium to be Held Wednesday, April 14, 2021
The UCSF Department of Surgery is pleased to host the 34th annual J. Engelbert Dunphy Resident Research Symposium, to be held virtually on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, beginning at 7:00am PDT. The program will showcase the research of residents, fellows, and medical students in the Department of Surgery, and honors the life and accomplishments of J. Engelbert Dunphy, M.D., a legendary surgeon and former chair of the UCSF Department of Surgery.
The symposium will feature the 2021 Dunphy Professor Jayme Locke, M.D., MPH, who will present the Keynote Lecture, "Surgery, Science & Advocacy: Mitigating Health Disparities in Transplantation." Dr. Locke will also participate in a panel along with several UCSF Surgery faculty, as well as in an interactive, career-focused discussion for residents and medical students.
